Hello! Its been over FOUR years since my last entry, which is a hot minute.
What have I been doing? Well where do I start? XD

I finished my PhD! Submitted my thesis early August, and now I am waiting for the edits then a final submission and I'll be Dr. Bekkalalda

For anyone interested I did my PhD in organometallic chemistry with a heavy emphasis on designing metallodrugs. I even did all my own biological testing.

We got a dog! A blue american staffy we named JoJo (of course XD)

I still lack a tablet! At this point in time now its more expensive to replace the pen than what my tablet is actually worth so I'll probably just sell my tablet and save up for a new one. I really do what to get back into digital art, pencils and brush markers are okay but I've always loved digital media more.

Been watching a lot of speedruns, got really into Jojo's bizarre adventure. Such a great anime, a perfect mix of comedy, violence and good story. I'm a massive fan of the art from parts 1 - 3, I like the sharper more masculine design of the characters.

My absolute favourite character is Noriaki Kakyoin, he's the best! Such a great character design and personality. May or may not already have figurines and keyrings of him XD

Part 4 was great too though Josuke is a great character. I enjoyed part 5 but its definitely been my least favourite part, though does have my second favourite overall character Mista. 

If you haven't watched at least part 3 SPOILERS!!!

Part 3 did teach me not to get too attached to characters, my partner knew how it ended but neglected to tell me or at least put me off making Kakyoin my favourite, I'm still HELLA salty about his death, I legit get so mad about it all the time, especially since after part 3, stands in part 4 and 5 could heal people, but not Kakyoin though! He gets a massive hole punched through the stomach instead. See you can see just how damn salty I am about this XD 
Its partially why I have no clear fav in part 4 and why I tried a little harder to not get too attached to Mista in part 5 (but failed but all good anyway!)

Hello hello, I am still living. I've had a big year. Completed my honours yay! Graduation is in may I've been off uni since early December I've just been so tired and had no motivation for art. I'm going to try and get back into it this week. I'm not going to have much free time any more since I am delighted to say I am commencing my PhD this year!!!!! on to more adventure!

HONOURS!

So I recently was accepted into an Honours year at my University, studying Inorganic Chemistry as a specialty. I started orientation two weeks ago and last week was on a holiday till yesterday. Because of this I will have periods of inactivity when my research and lab work becomes overwhelming. I have to write a 60 page thesis, do several assignments/modules and hours of lab research so don't expect too much of me this year again Sorry about that. There will be times where will post art but it will be scattered and infrequent. Possibly might switch to doing more traditional rather than digital as it takes less time for me to produce a traditional piece of the same quality as a digital one.

Anyway I am very excited to start my year of research work, but I promise I will not go offline for ages! I will still check deviations and reply to comments just won't be posting a lot of my own work. Cheers!

Well! That was a little entertaining Shi'Zuh is an alcoholic so was least affected by it all, Ailee never drinks so went absolutely insane, Bekkah is under-aged at 17 *naughty naughty* and Ash becomes more egotistical the more he drinks XD Hope you enjoyed it

I've been fairly busy with Honours, I had a few exams in the last couple days and I am still working on my own research work. I mainly come home exhausted and chain watch Yu-Gi-Oh before bed
Other than that not much else is going on right now. Just a lot of study still as it has been the last three and a half years
